Bob Spear's Programs:

Buffalo Bill

William Frederick "Buffalo Bill" Cody

The old Medal of Honor-winning Indian Scout relates pithy stories about his colorful life as the world's most famous American frontiersman from his wheelchair in his last days (1917). He talks about the famous people he knew, the plight of the Native American, and how he got his name.

Burl Ives
Greatly beloved folksinger and actor tells about his career, the McCarthy era, and some of his entertainment acquaintances. He also sings with accompaniment by his guitar many of his most popular songs. This is an entertainer from and for the people.
